Atvykimas
Ruošdamiesi Erasmus+ projekto „Jättebra” jaunimo mainams į Vilnių atvykome liepos 1 d., o po to važiavome į Vilkaviškį, kur apsistojome jaunimo centre. Dalyvavo vienas vadovas ir vienas jaunuolis iš Islandijos, Lietuvos, Karmoy (Norvegijos) ir Steinkjer (Norvegijos). Tai buvo ilga kelionės diena, todėl apžiūrėjome vietą, kurioje apsistojome, ir iškart ėjome miegoti.
1 diena
Dieną pradėjome pusryčiais ir išsamiai vienas kitam prisistatėme, nes dėl vėlyvo atvykimo nuėjome miegoti beveik nepasisveikinę. Po to, tęsėme savo darbą planuodami jaunimo mainus, nes buvo daug logistinių ir kitų dalykų, kuriuos reikėjo išsiaiškinti! Vadovai pradėjo rašyti mainų savaitės tvarkaraštį, o jaunimas dalyviams parengė informacinį paketą, kuriame yra rekomenduojamų atsivežti daiktų sąrašas, frazių, išverstų į kiekvieną jaunimo mainų kalbą, sąrašas, taip pat pridėjome keletą greitakalbių iš kiekvienos šalies. Pietavome vietiniame restorane „Pegasas“. Po valgio ir pertraukos tęsėme darbą su programa ir informaciniu paketu bei vėliau vieni kitam pristatė savo darbo rezultatus. Dienos pabaigai išvažiavome pasivažinėti dviračiais prie Paežerių ežero.
2 diena
Pabudome anksti, kad nuvyktume į „Selemos kiemą“, kur vyks jaunimo mainai. Apžiūrėjome vietą bei lauko teritoriją, kuri yra labai graži vieta ir paliko gerą įspūdį mūsų grupei. Padarėme keletą nuotraukų, kuriomis pasidalinome su savo komandomis namuose. Grįžę į jaunimo centrą papuošėme dėžutę, kuri bus naudojama jaunimo mainų metu kaip pašto/atsiliepimų dėžutė.
2 diena buvo itin produktyvi, nes ne tik išsamiai aptarėme ir užbaigėme visą programą, bet ir parengėme dalyviams google anketą apie alergijas ir maisto reikalavimus bei paskirstėme savo pareigas visoms komandoms po lygiai.
Išvykimas
Turėjome keltis anksti, kad laiku nuvyktume į oro uostą. Atsisveikinome ramiai, nes pasimatysime jau po 18 dienų, tik gausesnėje kompanijoje!!!

The diary of the Advanced Planning Visit
The arrival
To get ready for Erasmus+ project „Jättebra” Youth Exchange implementation we arrived in Vilnius the 1st of July and then we drove to Vilkaviškis where we stayed at the youth center. There was one leader and one young person from Iceland Félagsmiðstöðvar Akureyrar, Lithuania Vilkaviškio Atviras jaunimo centras – VAJC, Karmoy Norway Down Under Ungdomsklubb and Steinkjer, Norway Huze Ungdomssenter . It was a long day of travelling so we got a tour of the place we stayed at and then went straight to bed.
Day 1
We started the day with breakfast and introduced ourselves to each other thoroughly as we went to bed almost without saying hello due to our late arrival. After that we continued our work in detail about the youth exchange since there are alot of logistics and stuff to figure out! The leaders started to write the timetable for the week of the exchange, and the young people prepared the infopack for the participants which includes a packlist, a list of phrases translated to each language for the youth exchange and we also added a few common tongue twisters from each country. We had lunch at a local restaurant called Pegasas. After the meal and a break we continued our work on the program and the infopack. and presented our work results to each other. To end the day, we went for a bike ride to the lake of Paežeriai.
Day 2
We woke up early to go to “Selemos kiemas” where the youth exchange will happen. We got a tour of the venue and explored the outside area, which is a very nice location and impressed our group. We took some photos to share with our teams back home. When we returned to the youth centre, we decorated a box to be used during the youth exchange as a mail/feedback box.
Day 2 was extremely productive as we not only discussed the whole program in detail and finalized it, but also prepared a google form about allergies and food requirements for the participants, and assigned our responsibilities among all teams equally.
The departure
We had to wake up early to drive to the airport not be late for the flights. At the airport we said our goodbyes calmly as we will meet in 18 days!!!
